Dear Friends & Patrons,
We invite you to join us for a night of curated hilarity as we launch the first of our May residencies.
"A practitioner of the vanishing art of the raconteur, David McCubbin is a social anthropologist disguised as a comedian. Channeling the satirical precision of the great music halls and the absurdist lineage of the Tivoli, his work is an improvised dissection of the modern cultural condition.

"Whether lampooning the gatekeepers of the art world or observing the slow-motion ‘Big Build’ of the Victorian landscape, McCubbin’s lyrical illustrations and biting oratory serve as a necessary antidote to the sanctimonious age. David reveals it all in simple English and illustrations drawn from life."

The Wattletree Room, (upstairs at The Gardiner Hotel), 84 Glenferrie Rd Malvern, 3144, Victoria. Doors: 6.30 PM | Performance: 7:00 PM Capacity: Strictly limited to 50 patrons (seated) per evening.
